So today’s image is brought to you by my daughter Azailia. Not so much as she drew it but more that she inspired it mainly because its an illustration of her. As I started drawing today’s image she asked me to draw her so I did. As she went to sleep I was excited to see her reaction in the morning.

Upon awaking and seeing my final piece she promptly smiled with her approval then quickly started Art Directing alterations and improvements. You can see her changes after the jump. I guess what they say is true… everyone’s a critic.

Little back story. My best friend Qimmah and I began this idea last year of making a series of books; we have a few ideas but this one story stuck out. There won’t be any information about the story or the characters (besides the teaser image above) until we’re ready to launch. It wasn’t until today that I forced myself to stop trying something that was foreign and do something that made sense and was familiar. With that decided I can now take the next step in designing my fourth children’s book.

Today’s Illustration follows the path of yesterday’s Frankenkitten. More visual style then actual concept. Evil Twin Teddy Bear was conceived from the notion that having facial hair makes you look evil. Especially in TV shows like Star Trek (Spock) and Knight Rider (Garth Knight). Hope you enjoy, more art coming soon.
