As hopefully you all know, I’m part of an group called The Lazy Artists Club, each week we challenge each other to new topics to test our artistic might. This weeks challenge was to the opposite. “Either take something that’s cute and make it the opposite of cute, or take something evil and make it the opposite of evil,” as Phil so eloquently put it.

I keep telling everyone that I am asked to draw weird things at my job. Seriously, somewhere along the line I got branded as the “humor tee guy” and I’m always on gag tees. Not that I’m mad at that, I get to draw insane shit like a Cheshire Cat surfboard collage or Abraham Lincoln with Kanye glasses and DJ headphones. Does this make sense? No. Will I do it again? Probably so. Do I personally find it funny I’d have to say yes. I like corny jokes and this is pretty fricking corny. Would I wear a tee with Abe in the Yeezy shades… only if he were wearing era appropriate Air Force ones.

The Notorious BIG, Biggie Smalls, the Black Frank White, Big Poppa, The Greatest Rapper of All Time, what ever named you knew him by there’s no denying his legacy. With a very short rap career Christopher Wallace left an incredibly huge imprint on the industry that took him from Bed-Stuy to the world stage. 13 years after his passing his music is still being heralded as the best of his generation and is considered the GOAT.

Believe it or not… I think this is a fair fight. Jack Bauer is just that OD. I’ve seen this guy fly a nuke into the dessert, take a EMP bomb to the chest and survive radiation poisoning. Oh. Did I mention he came back from the dead…twice? So, him fighting Hulk makes it right up his alley. He’s like a couple levels below Batman. Who do you think would win this fight? My money’s on Jack.

So this is what happened. If you don’t know I’m part of the Lazy Artist Club. An organization created to help lazy artist get over being lazy. Its a weekly challenge we do 30 min paintings to help motivate our selves to become better artists. Well this week is sexy ladies. Unlike my previous paintings this week, where I went in with the idea to finish completely with a certain amount of completion. This image I totally forgot I needed to finish within a certain time frame and focused so much time on pose it left very little time to paint.
The results are very, very unfinished. But, I’m a man of my word so I have to post my progress at the end of 30 minutes. I’m glad that doesn’t mean I have to stop there. For the first time ever, I will be posting updates on this image as I work it till completion. Now, this doesn’t mean it will be the focus of my posts from this point on. What it does mean is to expect to see this image pop up from time to time as it moves further along to completion.
